1st ski trip ever

S was a rockstar on the slopes
J was a bit more tentative
We all liked traveling to the hot tub in our bathing suits and boots...
And swimming while overlooking the mountain - fun!

Thanksgiving

We started Thanksgiving weekend with our annual trip to Bartley's



Then finished the gluttony at Aunt M's & Uncle T's...
with the return of Nanny B's jello-mold....
and a super duper train cake for dessert!

Halloween...under the sea

J wanted to be a scary shark (easy to buy) but S wanted to be a purple stingray which required a bit more ingenuity....luckily Poppy came to the rescue and created this super cool purple stingray costume

Fall

Visit to the pumpkin patch today

J is becoming quite the cook - his latest invention is popcorn salad - ingredients: popcorn, banana chips, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots..yum

Building a sukkah - year 2

We started with wiresAdded a ladder
Put up the walls
Got some decorations working
And built our sukkah (with help from N - her blog debut!)

Alabama - We survived

LOTS of BBQ consumed

Even Whole Foods in AL is a mecca of BBQ (but the brisket is farm raised/organic!)
Our other big lesson was on how football is done in the South. Roll Tide!

Vermont 2010

Great trip to Vermont for the 4th of July week - lots of sailing and swimming and a visit from ESE and ASE (along w/D & M)

Pink! And Ballet

We went to go see Pinkaliscious in NYC and got dressed for the occasion
S was a natural at her first ballet recital
J insisted on buyer her flowers

We are 4!

We celebrated our bday in NYC
We hung w/aliens
And played in the park
And after 2 full days of activities we crashed out on the train ride home

our first day in Mexico started at 4:02am - Here we are hunting for breakfast.....
