We were super tourists in DC - checking out the White HouseAnd the buddist monk across the street who gave the babies peace birds when she found out we were democrats (S is kissing hers)
But the real treats had nothing to do with monuments - J tried and LOVED his first bomb pop
And S had a great time riding the subway - her first trip on a real choo choo train

I love J's curls more than anyone and have been resisting this day forever. Finally I was brow-beaten into what was promised to be "a little trim."

We took our first trip to Vermont - 4 babies + 4 adults. It was a little crazy at times...but a ton of funChilling on the shore in front of the cabin

A's blog debut

The babies were psyched to see A (but not so psyched to be held by mom & dad as you can see in this pic). More trips to NYC mean more buses and cars - their favs

Do you remember Snoopy Sno Cone?

For Father's Day the babies decided to make Dad & Poppy C sno cones using their new Snoopy Sno Cone machine. I have some great memories of this thing but the cheap, plastic toy we played with this weekend did not live up to expectations...still, the sno cones were good.

So this blog is really about J & S so we usually don't look our very best in most shots - since we got gussied up for my b-school reunion, we decided to share a pic....

Summer Weekends in CT

Lots to do around here. This beach is just 10 minutes from our house - we like to watch the birdies.The first carousel ride we took - it was mostly fun but a bit scary when the horses went up and down.
And of course NYC and central park are not too far away - we had a picnic w/B, E and little F this morning - lots of fun until it started raining - can you tell how wet we are?
